Chapter One

“Hey girl , relax . Maybe He just trap in the traffic jam . Don’t worry .” Siwon trying to relax See Yan who is in her wedding dress , All ready .

But , the groom is not here . He is in nowhere to be found . No phone call can be reach .

“Oppa , what if he decided not to appear today ? The guess is all waiting for more than an hour .” See Yan look at Siwon with her teary eyes . She is trying so hard not to drop any tears today .

“Listen , If he don’t come , We will cancel the wedding . I’ll give an account on it . You are totally under my protection , Araso ? We will just give in another 10 minutes . “ Siwon trying hard to cover his heart-ache with making himself looks firm .

Siwon , from seeing Seulong and See Yan fall in love with each other , then they date each other , till they engage , and now , Seulong became a run – away groom , leaving See Yan with her broken heart . He was there with See Yan all the time .

Yes , He is in love with See Yan , deeply but he never say it out . Why ? he simply don’t want to put See Yan in a situation to choose between him or Seulong . He wants to protect See Yan from a far distance and he knows , that’s the best thing he could do for her.

“ Good afternoon , this is Siwon . On behalf of Mr. and Mrs. Kim Heechul , we would like to announce that the wedding ceremony for Mr. Im Seulong and Ms. Kim See Yan is cancel . We apologize for any inconvenient cause , we are so sorry . “ the crowd began to make noise all around , wondering whats the actual reason .

Siwon stand right up front on stage together with Mr.Kim Heechul , the father of See Yan and Mrs. Eunji , See Yan’s mother . 3 of them put on the serious look . Especially Mr. Heechul , he had never ever be that serious . Perhaps that is part of mourning for the broken heart of his beloved daughter . He never expect this from Seulong , the boy who promise to take good care of her daughter . Its just a surprise , not a good one .

“ Ahjusshi and Ahjumma , I’ll send See Yan home , both of you should go home and take a rest first “ Siwon whisper softly to Mr.Heechul and Mrs. Eunji , trying not to awake See Yan who is lying on the sofa of the changing room .

“alright , please take good care of her .” Mrs.Eunji say it with a heavy heart , knowing that this is a tsunami to her daughter , emotionally destroying her badly . Perhaps , See Yan needs some time . She understands .

She walk away , holding Mr. Heechul’s hand . Both were worried about their only daughter , but they just have to believe that she will be fine , at least under Siwon’s company. They walk out of the church , and let their driver , Kangin to drive them back to their residence .


Siwon look at See Yan who lie on the sofa , how tired she had been , how painful her heart is . her hand is still holding Her wedding picture with Seulong . Tears stain on her beautiful face .. As Siwon looks closely , he found that tears still drop down , even when she is asleep. She must be in serious pain . All Siwon could do is be by her side , silently supporting her .
The weather is fine , birds chirping , rabbits jumping all around the garden of the church .

But , See Yan’s heart is a total different scene . Heavy rain, stormy wind .

Chapter Two

Few days after the incident .

“morning sweetheart , wants some tea ?” Mrs. Eunji asking See Yan who just wake up from sleep , walking down the stairs in her pink pajamas .

“can I have some coffee instead of tea ?” See Yan requested .

“of course , love.” Mrs. Eunji replied .

“Owh ya , Mum . Siwon texted me last night saying that he is going to fetch me out today . But I don’t feel like it , can you please phone him later on my behalf ? “ See Yan was trying to avoid meeting anyone after the incident .

“are you sure you don’t want to have a walk outside ? It’s a fine day . You should get some sunlight .” Mr. Heechul who is at the side commenting on it .

“Dad , im just tired . Let me hang myself in my room will do . “ See Yan have a quick sip of her coffee and grab the magazine of the week , then head back into her room .

Mr.Heechul look at his wife and sign . Well , maybe her daughter really need times to relax and rearrange her mood .

“annyeonghasaeyo . Siwon imida , can I come in ?” Siwon standing at the entrance .

“nehh , Siwon argh , I told you See Yan don’t feel like going out . Why do you still take the trouble from traveling down here .” Mrs. Eunji approach Siwon from the kitchen while taking off her apron .

“erm , Ahjumma .. Am I allow to enter See Yan’s room . I just want to have some talk with her . It won’t take every long time.” Siwon explaining why he appear .

Yes , its for See Yan .

“Sure son . go ahead . Do you want some cookies ?” Mrs. Eunji showing off her hospitality .

See Yan heard the soft knock on her door . She is still in her pajamas , lying on her bed , staring at the white ceiling of her room .

She did not reply to the knocking of the door , she remain silence .

“its me , I know you are awake . can you please open the door for me .” siwon asked politely .

“just a minute , im in my pajamas .” See Yan trying to delay the time on answering the door .

“Kencana , its not like I have not see you in pajamas before . just open the door .” Siwon answer softly although he knows See yan trying to delay everything . Yea , Siwon is more than patient when it comes to See Yan .

The door knob turns , See Yan standing at the door . No expression , no sign of emotions . its just a shell there .

“Can I enter , I need to talk to you.” Siwon repeat it over and over again , yet no sign of frustration in his sentences .

“is there a need ? my room is in a mess .” See Yan answer , looking on the floor .

‘Yes , Urgently . I don’t care how your room is . What I care is your right now .” Siwon starts to raise his volume .

See Yan turn away from the door and sit down on her bed . This is the first time Siwon see See Yan’s room in a total mess . Pillows were everywhere . Mugs and food packet is all over the floor . Picture of Seulong and her was lying on the bed . Some were torn , Some was faded because of water mark . Is that water mark or tears mark ?

“Listen here , life goes on with or without him . There is tons of people around you cares for you , stop locking yourself in the room and thinks that the end of the world ! The sun still rise every day . If you gonna keep locking yourself in this room , either you’ll die of depression or you parents gonna suffer from worrying you .”

Siwon look at See Yan who is sitting on the bed , twisting the end of her pillow .

Siwon continues “If you remain like this , nothing is going to change . HE WONT BE BACK. Stop making your world revolves around him . For the past 3 years you did that , you ignore everyone around you when he is around . but im telling you , I have enough of this . You need a life , a normal human life . He is gone so let it be . why must you put all your hope around him ? I don’t….”

“Yahh , stop screaming .” See Yan look at Siwon . She is tearing again . Siwon’s heart soften , he keep quite and let See Yan continue .

“What will you do if your wife run-away on your wedding day . In front of the whole bloody crowd you need to admit that your husband dump you for no reason and he is now disappear into thin air . What will you feel ? Stop saying my world revolves around him . That is because I love him . He means more than a fucking man to me , he controls my emotions , my feelings . Im so use to him being at my side . Its 3 years , 1095 days . How can you tell me just to let it go after all the memories we had for tons fucking moments together . Have you ever experience LOVE ? you are hooking around with the single title and now you are lecturing me ! YAH , who are you ?”

See Yan is in total tears , she is using the biggest effort to talk . She stares at Siwon . her face is as red as a tomato . Every inch under her skin is trying to shout back , trying to protect the man he had love dearly even though he left him just like that .

Maybe , this is a way to release her emotions that had been accumulate up days after days .

“you know what , Im sick of you ! sick of you acting like you understand me . Do you ? every time I look at you I think of the bastard ! both of you were always by my side , one is the man I love the most and one is like a big brother to me . both of you never left me . but now , look at this situation , All I can see is you . You turning here and there , behind , In front of me ! Where is him ? I can’t even see his shadow ! I miss him , I really do .” See Yan lean forward , lie flat on her bed . “every second im trying to hate him , hate him for leaving me here in this hell . But I just cant . Im trying so hard but I cant hate him .. I love him .. that’s a Fact , I love him” See Yan mutters …

Siwon is in tears together with her now . That’s the first time he cry in front of her .

He stood up . Looking at her who is crying all her energy out . And He said :

“You know why I have not been in love , because im loving someone so hard . The person just don’t see it . I wait for that person to break off with her boy friend , but they didn’t In fact , they made their way to engagement . And Finally , the groom didn’t appear on the wedding day . I should feel happy because I finally got a chance . But no , the girl had hide herself in her own world . I try so hard to open her heart once again , but she refuse to let me in . I thought she may need time , but in the end . Im just wasting my time waiting and waiting . Right before Seulong’s appearance between us , I already knows I had fall for you . But I guess , im just a fool . Standing at the same place , waiting for you to turn back to me when he had left . You didn’t . I never expect your love in return , but please .. Be fair to me . at least give me a chance . Im sorry for disturbing .”

Siwon turns away , walk down the stairs . wiping his tears roughly and just walk out like that . Get on his car , and he left .

See Yan was stunt . She never knows Siwon had a crush on her . When Siwon , Seulong and her , 3 of them together . All She bother was to boast about her love with Seulong , She never thinks of Siwon’s feelings . She is now totally lost . Had Siwon just confessed ? Is that what he hide in him for years ? Why did he keep that for so long ? How did he hide all his feelings so well ?

Tons of questions running in her head . Well , tears still drip down from her eyes , but its no longer for the man who had left , is for the one who has always been there .

Chapter 3

The sound of tea spoon hitting the coffee cup , sounds of blender , the aroma of Coffee . Is seems to be some calming pill for Siwon’s mind . He is there holding his cup of black coffee , looking at the peaceful morning of Seoul , but yet , nothing enters into his mind .

Part of his morning routine is to have a cup of awesome Pure black coffee in De Pastry Chef . If you would ask how familiar he is with that place , he can memorize the food menu from the first dish till the last cup of beverage , that’s how familiar he is . He can even help up when the shop is short of hands .

“would coffee makes a person drunk?” Leeteuk , the owner of the café and also a friend of him approach him and sit down in front of him .

“Haha , maybe.” Siwon answer , with losing half of his mind looking at the street .

“Are you sure you want to leave this familiar place and start a brand new life in LA ? Leeteuk says it while he looks at Siwon’s luggage .

“Yes , I guess .” Siwon answer , with a sense of disappointment in his tone .

“All the best then , brother . Feel free to visit this place once you are back .” Leeteuk patting Siwon’s shoulder .

“By the way , can you do me a favour ?” Siwon asked

“Sure , if its not something ridicules which I suppose you wont .” Leeteuk jokes a little .

“nahh , Please help me hand this letter to the address written . would you ?” Siwon hand Leeteuk a white envelope .

“alright . seems like this is one of the reason that you are leaving .” Leeteuks smiles and expect Siwon to pour out his mind before he would leave with a lighter heart .

“ I better leave before I miss my flight because of chatting with you . Haha” Siwon smile , left the payment on the table and he walk away .

Before he left the shop , he stand in front of the door and try to capture every single view of it before he left . let them sank in the depth of his memory , along with her .

He whisper to himself as he walk out and stopped the cab “Time to change , for a better one”

“ahjusshi , head to incheon airport please . Kamshahamnida ”

Chapter 4

To See Yan :

Hi , Im sorry for leaving without noticing you . I hope you’ll forgive me . Alright , seems like the only one who is by your side now is also going off , but I guess you have grown up a lot lately . I believe you do .

I apologize for those words I spoke that day , I guess it’s a little too harsh . Im sorry . Well , lets not make this letter an apologizing letter .

I’ll be back to LA with my parents , maybe for good . Appa is old and he needs me to be back there to help him up on his business since im the only child . Omma called that day and told that appa was thinking of moving out from the busy LA to some peaceful country side , but he can’t let go of his business . So I guess , they need me over there .

I hope after my departure , you’ll spend more time on exploring the world . Your bodyguard now is far away from you , you have to learn to protect yourself from all kinds of danger . Like throwing snow at unknowns and act you you are not the one . Alright , I know that was those days stories .

I wonder whats your expression at this moment ? Still smiling or your tears had gone overload again ? Life is like this . When a person get too close with you , that’s the time you are going to be separate with him . Well , for better or for worst . No one cant live without anyone , remember this . Life goes on with or without me , or even him .

Take good care of yourself , remember to bring a scarf or your jumper when you are going out with your friend , especially going for movie during winter or even autumn. Araso ? Im no longer here by your side already , you better learn to take good care of yourself , small kid .

She keep the letter in her drawer and wipe her tears off .

“ Dad , can we talk ?” See Yan walk down to living room where Mr. Heechul and Mrs. Eunji having their tea break .

“ Look , I don’t have a big amount of cash with me right now , but I have the need to get them used up . Would you mind buying me a air ticket to LA , I’ll pay you back by installment . I promise .” See Yan trying to persuade her dad , but she knows for sure , Mr.Heechul will say YES in the end . Its just , a process .

“Relax girl . Its seriously amazing to hear you decide to get some holidays . I’m going to pay everything , don’t worry of paying me back . Im your appa alright .” Mr. Heechul smiles as he says it .

“thanks so much , Appa , saranghae …” See Yan stretch out her hands and hug Mr.Heechul tighly .

“But appa, Can the flight be on tomorrow ?” See Yan let Go Mr. Heechul and ask the final question .

“WOW WOW WOW , that’s fast . But for you , anything can !” Mr. Heechul is even willing to pluck down the stars on the sky for her . That’s See Yan’s appa , Kim Heechul .

“Alright then , stop all this and get online to book your air tickets before the plane left you .” Mrs. Eunji says , holding her chocolate strawberry cookies .

“araso !” Both father and daughter bump up from the sofa and make their way to See Yan’s room .

Chapter 5

“Passenger please fasten your seatbelt as the plane is going to land on Los Angeles International Airport . Search for help from the air stewardess if you need any . Thank You”
A simple announcement was made and break the silence in the plane . Every passenger is tired of sitting in plane for hours , include See Yan .

She fasten her seatbelt and her heart start to pump fast . “I at the same piece of land that he is in .”

That statement seems to be weird but , she is in love . Not with the run-away groom ,but with the one who is always there for her. See Yan knows it , deep inside her , There is a space for that boy .

She step out of the airport and stopped a cab . Without her realizing , its already midnight 2 O’clock in LA . All she need is some rest right now .

“Excuse me sir , Wynn hotel please . “

Right after she reach her room in Wynn hotel after some simple process for checking in , she fall flat on her bed .

“Ding dong .” The door bell of the room rang and woke See Yan from her dreamland .

“Whose on the door ?” See Yan shouted from her bed . That’s the worst thing that could happen to her , someone wake her up from her sleep when she is totally running out of rest.

She had a look at the window , the sun had rise . Its 9 plus in the morning .

Its still early .

“Room Service.” A male voice answered .

“ I didn’t request for anything ,wrong room . “ See Yan trying to ignore that person who is at the door .

“No , its this room . 2407 .” That person trying to persuade See Yan to open the door by telling her he is right .

She get up from the bed and walk towards the door .

“I said I didn’t request for anything ! Do you know its rude disturbing someone who is resting ?” See Yan trying to show her unsatisfied with her “ i-just-got-wake-up look” without looking at that person .

“You never change , still that grumpy .” The person said

See Yan was total amaze with that familiar voice . So familiar yet she can’t recall who is that. She is half awake .

She tilt her head up and look right into that person’s eyes . She is capture by that gaze .
He is smiling at her amazed look .

“What the hell are you doing here? How the hell you know I have landed this piece of land ? GOD !” See Yan can’t believe what she is seeing is true . She can’t believe the person standing right in front of her in blue Polo Tee had approach her before she even did that .

He is Siwon .

He hugged her , so tightly till she almost lost her breath , yet she is not willing to push him away .

“I never know you would actually came for me , I should fly off years ago.”

“Pado , don’t you ever plan to do that . Promise me , stay by my side forever .”

“I promise you , I’ll stay forever by your side , be your pabo forever . Saranghaeyo.”

“Nehh , Saranghamnida.”

Finally , he made that three word out of his mouth officially and reach her ears . In the end , Its worthy ,waiting for her

Just now as I pass by the news paper stall , I saw that picture was printed big on the magazine of the week , and there as saying that , the girl is his new girlfriend ! “Unnie , you forget . He is a World Wide Celebrity . “ See Yan give a smile to her Unnie , assuring her that Eunhyuk never fail his love for her .

The waitress behind the café is gossiping on the back of the bar .

“ Look at Siwon , Oh My God . How can he be this handsome . Im drooling over him lately.” Waitress A said .

“Shut up , look at that girl who is sitting beside him on the award ceremony , don’t you think that’s her girlfriend ?” Waitress B comment on it .

“Huh ? That girl belongs to one of those girl groups . Don’t tell me he is dating her secretly .”Waitress A said .

“Well , they looks good together . Did you saw the commercial they shoot together ? Touching on the shoulder , holding hands , touching on the waist . What do you think ?”

See Yan was trying not to listen to them , but they talk too loud .

“Alright . “ Hanjie started to grin and take a sip of her coffee . “Ya , what is Siwon doing lately ?”

See Yan answered “ I guess he is busy with schedule , He didn’t contact me since Wednesday . I didn’t want to make him feel so tense up on reporting himself to me . Since that’s part of the rules for both of us .” See Yan start to focus on the blender , trying to make herself feels better .

Hanjie and See Yan had a common point , both of them are dating with World Wide Celebrities from a same group , Super Junior , Eunhyuk and Siwon . They both study in a same university , just that Hanjie is a year older than her . Age is not a matter , because both of them are still best friends .

See Yan always look cool in front of everyone, showing off her stubborn attitude . And everyone believe that no matter what happen , she will be fine . She stop crying at public when she is 10 .

But , Hangeng knows all this mask she has put up , is just to protect herself .

See Yan is the only child in the family , that makes her so independent . Hangeng is a neighbor of See Yan since she was born , A Big God Brother to her . The late night , everyone should be sleeping .

“Jubuseayo ?” Another side of the phone speaks after a few round of tto tto .

“Arhh , My little princess . Waeyo ? you sounds abit out of track.” Yea, that’s Hangeng . Calling on See Yan with nicknames . He is the only person besides Siwon calls See Yan in nickname and See Yan would not respond with a angry stare .

“ I miss him . We have not been talking since 3 days ago . Today is Saturday , he should be calling me . But now is already 3am in the morning , yet I heard nothing from him .” See Yan starts talking like a train , hoping that all her emotions would be release through a phone call .

“Owh , its our Famous Siwon’s fault . Just wait for me , I’ll get change and drive you out for some fresh air . “

“Em”

“Owh ya , make sure you bring along your house key and your jumper . Its cold tonight . Snick out quietly alright , I don’t want to explain to Heechul ajjusshi . U know your dad well . “ You call this as the naggy side or the caring side of Hangeng ?

“Em . I’ll wait your house garage . Bye “

This is what Hangeng always do after he get his driving license . Drive See Yan out , stop the car along the sea side . Then its See Yan choice , to talk or to let the sea breeze bring all her problems away . If See Yan choice to remain silent , Hangeng would just sit by her side ; but if See Yan starts to pour out , He would give his opinion . That’s how their relationship works .

The engine sound of Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren break the silence of the night . Hangeng is driving at the speed of 120 km/h . The Open Canopy let wind enter to See Yan’s soul .

The car stop , facing the surging sea . Sound of Sea Wave hitting on the rock . It should sounds peaceful but yet Hangeng can’t feel any sense of peaceful around him . He knows , something went wrong somewhere .

He turn his head and look at See Yan . This time , See Yan didn’t talk nor remain silence . She cried . Tears drop down from her eyes , One after another . Hangeng couldn’t help but hand her tissues . This is the first time See Yan is crying over Siwon , this show how much she had miss him , how much she feel the pain of not hearing from him . She love him , nothing gonna change this .

Hangeng wipe away her tears , She smile with tears falling down on her cheeks .

“Hey , girl . Don’t cry . You break my heart . “ Hangeng whisper softly , trying not to break the atmosphere around .

See Yan choose not to answer , yet she is trying hard to smile , trying hard to stop tears rolling down from her cheeks .

“Should I make a call to you carrot ? Telling him how badly had he break my princess’s heart ?” Hangeng trying to sound as polite as he could while wiping See Yan’s tears away .

“No , I don’t want to disturb him. I don’t want to be his burden .” See Yan trying to make her stand clear . But I guess it fails because Hangeng had already grab her phone from her bag and punch a few key on the phone , press the loud speaker . Finally . Siwon’s voice appear .

“Hey baby , why are you calling that late . Its almost day dawn on your side . am I right ?” Siwon talks with a sleepy voice . Its so clear that he is awake by the phone call .

“Hey , this is Hangeng here . You baby is crying because you have made yourself disappear for 3 days . Im going to hand the phone to her .” Hangeng trying not to sounds sarcastic because that her princess’s lover .

“ Arghh , im sorry . this few days my timetable are totally occupied with The new song no other MV filming and also KyoChon chicken new CF . Baby , you’ll forgive me right . I just get on the car for an hour sleep before I travel down to LA for something else .”

“Its okay , baby you sleep k . I feel much better hearing your voice , although they sounds creamy . I love you , take care . Promise me , don’t flirt around I know you won’t , just resist those girls alright .” See Yan trying to cover her guilt from waking Siwon over her childishness . She is trying to cut the talk short and let Siwon return to sleep soon .

“I promise you . I’ll call you once I settle down in LA alright . Go and sleep , its almost day dawn at your side . Listen to me please .”

“em , for you I’ll . Miss you so much , love you . Bye” Without see Yan realizing , she is grinning widely .

“mianhae girl , nitex , bye .” Siwon hanged the phone up with just press on the red button .

Is just a short phone call and all problems are settle .

“aigoo , look at my princess , how lovely her smile is compare to her sour teary face . “ Hangeng trying to tease but he fail , because the person he is facing is See Yan . Simple.

“ Stop it , Oppa , Kamshahae . You made my day again .” See Yan made it short , but she knows Hangeng understand the grateful she had mix in .

“Welcome girl , alright we should head home before your parents found out about this .”

Hangeng ignites the car engine while looking at the smiling See Yan slowly close her eyes , She is tired . Hangeng rest her head nicely , buckle the seat belt for her . Put his hand on her head whisper “that’s my Dongsaeng.” And he start driving .

That’s Hangeng , See Yan sweetest brother and that is See Yan , the stubborn sister . :D
